appication process begins helps, how it is done, how to apply r
position, etc.
Topic 4: Searching and Applying for
Residency Programs:

comprehensive outline of what is takes to land into a residency
program.
Includes online sources for applications, getting positions outside the
matching program, etc
Topic 5: The Interview
Explain
how
interviews are scheduled with focus on practical aspects of how to be a
good
interviewee such as, what to expect, how to ask the right questions,
how to
make a good impression, etc
Topic
6: Match Results:
What to
do
when the match results come out. What to
do if not matched anywhere or if not matched to a place of your choice,
how to
secure a contract including nuances of signing a contract, how to
finalize the
visa once the contract is sealed.
Topic 7: Fellowship Training:
This
article
will be geared for those who are about to finish their residency and
would like
to pursue further training in fellowship or research.
Mentioned here will be application
requirements, visa requirements, etc. Some graduates come here from the
Philippines
after having completed a residency back home and would just want to do
special
training… what are the requirements for this group?
